Using FF2.0.16 and additional check with IE6, I have 5+ user videos, but limit to 4 per page (with a maximum of 20).

Everything is ok for the first page - the pagination symbols appear, but when I select to the next page, the additonal videos fail to load - that is, I just get the module title and nothing more - the module fails to load. I am using Rocket Theme Populus on Joomla 1.0.13. Using sh404sef - though perhaps it's worth looking into possible url probs.

In the meantime, I have to limit max vidoes to 4 and page count to 4 as pagination does not work here.

Any ideas?

This is a good product, but it appears that the detail is showing the holes!

Hi Mike.

Many thanks. What sort of access would you like?

ftp and joomla admin.

Hello Mike.

Sorry, but I can't agree to that level of access. I know what you hope to achieve, but I think you can understand my reasoning here. I'm not suggesting you'd do anything harmful - but we are extremely  protective concerning security issues.

I'll make some further investigations into this problem once I can get some downtime - we're quite busy on the site just at the moment.

A good start would be to see if it's a problem caused by the module position, or if it does it for all published modules, and under what other settings. Or perhaps a scripting conflict etc. If you have any other suggestions, it would be useful to help troubleshoot this.

I'll report back to you once I get some downtime on the site.

Many thanks for helping out. I think this is a great module and plugin - works really well for us (lol except for the pagination problem).

Hi Mike.

Here's the feedback I promised.

I have tried the module in just about every position and with different ajaxsandbox module settings - just the same - the module fails to paginate.

One thing I did notice though was the ajaxsandbox css rules for the .sb_pagenum and the other pagination elements have no effect on this module.

However, when I open up the cb profile (and as the sb module is still published under this condition) then the css kicks in and I have css control over the module - but the pagination still does not work. What I do get reported by Firebug is "This element has no rules". I note that the css is in the comprofiler/plugin/user/ path.

I also notice in the HTML content of Firebug, that the module flashes yellow (I often relate this to js issues) when I paginate and the module fails to load. In the HTML window I get a whole list of site js and headers, when I expand in the module location.

This is born out when I take the site offline, go to preview in Joomla admin and paginate SB. The site offline message occupies the SB module space.

I don't want to publish my site location in the forum, so I've sent you a pm/email. Email me back when you're ready to have a look and I'll make sure the module is showing pagination (leaving it up continuously with this problem just gives a bad impression if anyone tries to paginate).

Many thanks for your help.

Hello Mike.

I don't seem to be getting a response from you...

You responded to my "Contact Me" mail, on the 3rd Sept, I replied on the 4th... outlining again the problem (as asked at the time) and refering you to this forum post. Now it's gone very quite! Not even a response to my last posting, or my last "Contact Me" message on or about the 11th Sept.

I well understand if you have other matters to deal with, or might have some private issues (as we all have other things going on in our life). But it would be useful to receive some feedback.

 Smiley

I would much prefer to have this exchange in private rather than in a public forum, but as a customer, what other alternatives have I?

If you delete this post, then I have my answer I guess. At least I know you have read it and aware of the issues but choose not to respond.
