Hi Mike,

I have just downloaded new version of Simgallery 1.0.10. Now I am not able to upload photos. No pop up window on SELECT PHOTOS.

I have Flash playen plugin 10 version on my computer. I have checked in Firefox and IE but nothing is working


Even it is not working on your demo site at simbunch

I replace my SIMGallery 1.0.9 with the new one 1.0.10 but still persist the issue with the comments and BBcode.

I can´t post a comment... and the bbcode is not displaying.

I think this issue is only with joomla 1.5.8 and CB 1.2 RC3

Any help please?

The BBCode comment editor uses javascript dom replacement. If it doesn't replace properly, it is likely caused by a javascript conflict. Can you check (using Firebug) to see if there're any errors?

Can I replace some files on the server to update from 1.0.9 to 1.0.10 or do I have to uninstall everything?

Replace globals.simgallery.php, simgallery.html.php, and the contents of the "uploader" folder.

There is also a minor fix in the CB plugin. You have to reinstall that.

I just updated to the newest version. Works fine so far, but I can't upload any pictures.

Attached the message from my console (Firebug).

Any idea how to fix that?

Hi Mike,

I already tested my site with FireBug and WebDeveloper and I found no Javascript errors... Also, besides comments box and bbcode not working, my whole installation works perfectly. I can upload pics, create folders, I can see progress bar working, etc...

I mean my javascript seems to be working ok.
Look, I have your latest files installed, and there are some parts of your component which include words which are not on language file, my site is in Spanish and every time I install a new version, I have to modify the following files: uploads.simgallery.php, fancyupload2.js and simgallery.html.php... so this is getting tired.
Now, I posted what I think is a SQL bug, you kindly replied with a "Fixed, please download and install again" comment. Well, I did, uninstalled, download, installed again but... I just checked my site on Debug mode, and issue is still there, here's error message I get: 500 - JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) FROM jos_simgallery_comments WHERE `cmtpic`=
 
Mike, I know you are very busy, but my site relies heavily on your components, could you please help me one more time so I can get this issue solved?

Oh Yeah. Language files are really not useful when combined with hardcoded language

I checked the SQL line, and I don't understand why your server is complaining. There is no error in that line, and it works on my site. Nobody is complaining about that line either.

Works on joomla 1.0x (like yours) but not on joomla 1.5.8 with CB 1.2 RC3... try to recreate it and then you see the problem.

Joomla 1.5.8
CB: 1.2RC3
PHP Version: 5.2.6
Database Version: 5.0.51a-community

SG uploads photos and lets me add comments in both IE7 and FF3.0.4

One issue i have:
When i change in settings to display "username",  it does not do it in gallery (see pic).
